In order to provide to our end users a better quality of service, it was decided to set up a yearly calendar of the IN2P3 Computing Center facilities outages .

The increasing complexity of the systems hosted make the coordination of their downtimes even more accurate. Therefore set up a long term planning is a way to achieve this goal.

You may, by now, find on our web site the dates of the four next downtimes .

Each of theses downtimes can potentialy impact all our services.

For each of this downtimes, a detailed list of the services that will be impacted and the scheduled planning of the work that will be done will be published 10 days before. By the way, it may happens that a scheduled dowtime may only lead to no outage at all.

This calendar publication is not exclusive of other partial (or full) service downtimes that may happened as a consequence of unexpected events or as a result of operationnal constraints nor as a conquence computing security issues we may have to operate in some delays incompatible with this planning.

For this year, the next downtime dates are :

Outage Date for 2012 Publication date of the impacted service
February 7th 2012 January 27th 2012
May 22th May 11th 2012
