The Atlas collaboration builds a detector to the LHC at CERN. This detector is made to observe the Higss boson responsible of the elementary particle’s mass. It is also able to see the sign of new physic beyond the standard model at several TeV energy scale.
The CC role for Atlas
The Atlas Computing infrastructure is based on LCG (Lhc Computing Grid). The CC is one of the Atlas tiers1 with arround 15 % of the overall tiers1 resources. Several french and foreign tiers2 are attached to the CC tier1.
Restricted area to Atlas and CC staff. You will find more informations about the CC usage by Atlas. Also meetings between Atlas and the CC are availables.
