Local organizationThe Computing Center implements and uses various relational databases management systems. Thoses RDBMS are the basis of various applications that are essential to the good working of the Computing Center, of its computers and of its network.
For instance, the Oracle RDBMS is used to manage the DNS database, the users accounts, the tapes management or the incident tracking system.
PostgreSQL and MySQL RDBMS are also operated mainly for the implementations of dynamic web sites.
All these RDBMS are avalaible of to the Computing Center users. In order to use them, please address your demand to the user support of the Computing Center. In a near future, a web form will be available to perform your request in an easier and accurate way.
