The physics with Phenix
PHENIX is one of the four RHIC experiments, first heavy ion collider able to reach the energy of 200 GeV per nucleon pair. The goal of this collider is to produce the plasma of quarks and gluons.
The CC role for Phenix
The french physicists of the Phenix collaboration use the Computing Center for their analysis and participate to the events reconstruction effort. In particular, all data and publications concerning the J/Psi decay in muon pairs come from work done at CC.
Restricted area to Phenix and CC staff. You will find more informations about the CC usage by Phenix. Also meetings between Phenix and the CC are availables.
In case of problems, please, take contact with the Computing Center user support team.
