30 November 2025Portail Data: a national tool for laboratories
Portail Data is a tool currently used by more than 500 research units in France. Designed for unit managers, it provides key indicators for laboratory management, based on major national reference systems (Reseda, Webcontrat, GesLab).
Developed by and for laboratories, this tool is the result of collaboration between project managers (CNRS, universities, ministries) and the CNRS IT departments. Its bottom-up architecture ensures a precise response to the needs on the ground, with a project team with a variety of profiles (laboratories, universities, ministries).
At the heart of this project, Philippe Correia and Christine Durand, two agents from the Computing Centre, have just been rewarded for their major contribution. Their work illustrates the commitment of the entire team, which not only ensures the development of the tool, but also provides user training, workshops and technical support.
Portail Data is constantly being enhanced with new features and is establishing itself as a benchmark solution for unit management. This cross-functional project highlights the Computing Centre and its driving forces.
Well done to the Portail Data team!
