Industry Week: Visit from the “Elles bougent” association
20 November 2025To mark Science Day, the Centre de Calcul de l’IN2P3 has joined forces with the Lyon-Tech La Doua Campus University Science Library to put on an exhibition dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. Inaugurated on 7 October 2025 with a preview attended by partners and a representative from the CC-IN2P3 Computer Museum, it will remain open to the public in the Library gallery until 4 January 2026.
Can intelligence be artificial?
The Intelligences 2.0 exhibition invites you on a journey through the history and challenges of artificial intelligence. What is AI today? How is it being enhanced? What are its weaknesses? What is its environmental impact? Display cases, panels and videos will allow you to explore these questions from every angle.
The CC-IN2P3 Computer Museum, partner of the exhibition
The CC-IN2P3 Computer Museum is a partner of the exhibition and has contributed to the provision of several machines that are emblematic of the history of computing. These machines are an essential part of the exhibition.
In particular, you will discover the Minitel 1, a symbol of another digital era, which you can use to chat with Mistral AI or ChatGPT on a self-service basis. You will also find the Khepera 2 robot, formerly used to test neural networks. Finally, two French computers will be on display: the Thomson MO5 and the Ogip Welect W80.
